Traditional business models tend to be built on growth, efficiency and maximising profit. But how do you develop an organisation that is not only economically successful, but also contributes to a healthy society and a resilient living environment?

In the module NATURE'S INTELLIGENCE BUSINESS MODELS you learn how to design organisations along the principles of NATURE'S INTELLIGENCE. You discover how ecosystems create value, deal with scarcity, cooperate, innovate and keep adapting to changing conditions. You then translate those insights to your own organisation, products, services and business model.

Throughout the module you work on a case from your own practice. You learn to analyse business models, apply natural design principles, develop circular value chains and shape transitions. What makes this module unique are the observation assignments at Burgers' Zoo, where you learn to look at ecosystems as a source of inspiration for innovation, strategy and lasting value. The module closes with a Serious Game in which you apply your knowledge in a dynamic setting.
